So alot has happened since I last updated! BUt the main things is

My friend Meggie came into town and we had a great time she was here for about ten days and we tried to fit in as much as possible while she was here. Then a week after she left my mama and grandma came into town for Tyras 3rd birthday! IT was a BLAST having them here I have missed my family so much! We did alot while they were here too! Many hikes glaciers boat trips eatting out you name it we did it!

Tyra Lynn turned Three we had a small bbq for her and it was super fun, it ended in a cake fight! She is still loving all her princess'!!

Mama left on the 27th really early in the morning and since then we have just been tryin to catch up on sleep and cleaning! It was a blast having ppl here!

Cant wait til more of my family can come!

My cousin just moved to Germany so we are planning our trip there for 2011 so hopefully everything goes smoothly and we will have a great time there!

So that is about all that has been going on.

Ok, So I am a bad blogger! I havent had the time to blog lately!
There has been alot going on lately I got a new job so I have been working, I work the days Derrick is off so Tyra has been spending alot of time with Daddy lately which is a good thing! :) SOME DAYS hahahaha This is Tyra today! Before we head to the waterpark! She would not smile! So I said smile for Nana haha and this is what I got! She smiled HUGE! I think she misses her nana! She was excited to wear this shirt(its from Nana) she calls it her princess shirt!

Derrick got his first black eye! He went riding at the track and a rock flipped up and hit him in the eye! Broke his goggles.

So this is what the summers are like in Alaska! This is about Midnight or so outside!

People say oh man i would hate that.. It does get some gtting use to but it is actually pretty sweet because you can sure do alot in one day! It has been so green a pretty lately I just wish the rain would stop!

Aww so the weather here as been so nice! We have gotten in the high 70's and it has been great! We have been outside as much as possible. Today is the first day that it has actually rained! I think it is ok we needed some rain there has been so many fires here. This was Tyra today when we wereat the track watching daddy ride. Then it started raining

We let izzie's ears down but the tips ARENT quite standing well enough so we had to put them back up!

So I think I can say that spring is finally here! There is almost NO snow anywhere! BUT I may be speaking too soon.Lets cross our fingers and hope not!
Here is a picture of Tyra with her fire fighter hat that her daddy brought home for her from work one day. Lets just say she LOVES it. This is Tyra and our BIG GIRL Izzie! She is growing so fast! She is now 50lbs.!! I swear it was the only day that we brought her home at 20lbs.!!!

Other than that things are just going here, same ol same ol not much has changed. Derrick should start racing moto cross we have a FEW things we have to take care of first.

OK OK so i just realized that I post SO many pictures when I post things. haha I gues I like it better than typing!
So we went to a bike convention this Sunday and a store was going out of business so we bought Tyra this super cute helmet! I love it I actually wanted it in my size but I just got mine not too long ago so D said no :( haha
Tyra's new thing is sitting in the sink while I do her hair she loves it because she gets to look at herself! I know right she is crazy!!! So we like to try new hair styles which is always fun! I suck at doing hair though so when I get something that is cute I am pretty excited about it. haha and Brittany sent us some bows that she made for Tyra that we just LOVE!! KEEP EM COMING Britters hahaha just kiddin!!
So we decided to crop Izzies ears that is why she is wearing the CONE hat and the E-Collar! She was so funny the first night but now that she is out of pain killers that KNOCK her out she is CRAZY! We go in today to have the doc look at them again! So I cant wait til her re does her cone head!! So that is all we have been up too....
OH OH except we did have a volcano errupt! 5 times and then again last night! So Derrick will probably be going TDY to help clean up ash! WHICH sucks because he could be gone for like 6wks and he has to leave when he gets the phone call!... SO ANY TIME!! BUMMER DEAL!! She loves it!! It looks really big in these pictures but it isnt at all!!

So we got another puppy! Her name is Izzie, they named her Esme from Twilight BUT we decided she looks more like an Izzie. We weren't going to get a dog so soon and keep looking but we really wanted a Great Dane and we FINALLY found some up in Fairbanks. We just decided to call and see if they had any boys but some one bought the last boy three hours before we called. Derrick wasn't going to a girl dog, but it actually works out better. Since we already have one boy dog that thinks he is the man of the house I don't want there to be a pee war going on inside my house! So we girl works out great!!! She is an awesome dog so far we really like her! Tyra loves her and Izzie loves Ty which is great! Diablo has his days of liking her. He is an extremely LAZY dog and so is she but she likes to play a bit longer than Diablo and some days he just doesnt like it!!

So Derrick and I have decided to FINISH the house! We have been putting off the spare room because it is just FULL of junk! Well Not really junk but stuff we need just not right now.. Our last house has SO much storage and we come here and there isnt even a linen closest! Oh yes so we loaded up on some tubber wear and have been puttin all Tyras old stuff in (just in case some day we have another girl..) And then just all our luggage and blankets we are tryint to fit in the closest! Well it has been a mess and I got to fill the picture and book tubber wear! YAY FOR ME!! Because it took me hours because of course I have to go thru every picture before I can put it away ... Well then I found some CD's so I had to upload those on the computer and look at them! Then of course add them to all my things on here.. SO really I didnt get much done! BUT we will be done by the time Derrick has his K-day!! WE HOPE!!!

We my cousin is moving to Germany! She got orders to be there this August!! So Derrick and I's NEW GOAL is so start saving so we can go there.. It is a one in a life time experience and WHY not just do it!! We are super excited we are planning on going in the fall of 10' SO hopefully it all works out! Which i think it will!!

Things are going great! We are loving our house! It is so nice to be in a place that we can call home for three years! That is rare in the military but we are happy we are in Alaska for 3years!

Just an update!!

So we got to Alaska just right before Thanksgiving! We spent it at the station.. We werent there for long then we went to Kauai! It was great! Then we came home did Christmas in our little TLF.. IT was not fun!

We just got our house friday! That was great I love it .. it is nice being in our house with our things again! It has been 9 months since we have had our own things. I think we were a LITTLE sick of living out of a suit case!

My mama bought Tyra her big girl bed for her birthday in August but I didnt let her sleep in it til we got here and in our house and she loves it and she does great at it! She is probably the best lil' girl for all of the things her parents put her through.. She now has all her toys again and she is loving it! We got our dog back since we are in our house now and Tyra will now let him leave her side. He wont leave mine so I always have two followers everywhere I go!

BUT things are great here we are loving alaska it is very pretty!

Family trip to Kauai

Finally we were on vacation together!

I really wanted this to be Derricks first time seeing the ocean but unfortunately he saw it going to Iraq! BUT I got to be there when he got in it for the first time and that was great!

I just want to tell my mama thank you for letting this all happen!

It was one great week even though we had monsoon weather and the trip to the ER it was GREAT!

Our Drive to Alaska!

It was alot of fun! At times were sick of it but it was well worth it in the end!

It took us ten days to drive up here! We got to see some beautiful country.

We were stoked to be in Alaska though I dont think we would of lasted much longer on the road. :)

But it was a great experience. People always say how horrible the Alcan highway is. Well it really isnt that bad! If your from Idaho you would be FINE on the roads thats for sure!

All packed up and ready to go! Thank goodness we have such a great traveler on our hands. If not we would have been in a world of pain! I was so nervous because she hadnt been potty trained for too long. I was dreading that! But she did great not one accident!

Crossing the border the second day into traveling- This took forever since I had pepper spray they made me give it to them! Dang I was mad! hahaha-

This is the hotel we stayed in, in Edmonton! It was flippen sweet! haha and our room was huge!

It started to get pretty cold from here on out! Once we got into the Yukon it was FREEZING!

Derrick and Tyra in the Edmonton Mall it was a pretty sweet mall! HUGE thats for sure.

They had a sea lion show that we went to it was alot of fun for Tyra. There was also a huge water park there that was pretty sweet.

We had THE best ribs there! Their food court looked like it was outside down on the streets that was pretty neat! They had very fancy to hooters there! It was alot of fun.

There were so many trees it was unreal I didnt think that many existed in one place!

None of our pictures do justice to how pretty it was!

Derrick and Tyra in White Horse.. We stayed here a couple days to rest up it was pretty sweet lil town! Ate some great Sushi!

Finally Alaska! Only two more days left of driving.

On The Road

Hey everyone
So we havent been able to get on here and upload all our pictures. We probably wont untill we get back from Hawaii and get internet and cable..
But things are going great we are in Canada right now and we will be back in the US tomorrow morning.
It has been a great trip so far. We have seen the MOST beautiful sites that I have ever seen. It has been really great. Tyra is doing awesome she is such a great traveler. I think that we are all ready to get to one place and stay there. BUT like I said that probably wont be until after hawaii.. BUT we are still alive and just trucking along.

Halloween FUN!!

So we had a great Halloween night! The boys decorated the garage, it was the scariest place on FE WARREN.. Some parents had to drag their kids up to get some candy! It was alot of fun and turned out great for something very last minute!
Tyra was so adorable! She was so excited to go Trick-or-Treating, she was also very polite. When there was other kids waiting at the door with her she would give them some of her candy out of her lil' pumpkin! It was great, we did just about our whole subdivision and then came back to hang out with Daddy.

She just HAD to put the candy in her bucket herself!!
So cute we put a flash light in her pumpkin to make it glow she loved it!
She loved my pitch fork.. she kept calling it a King, I didn't really get it til I thought about it, we had just watched Little Mermaid so that it why she was calling it that. She had a great time with it all night though.
This is a view of the garage except the flash doesnt give it, its full effect. There was a strobe light and a black light that really made it look great! They took the bunker gear and hung it from the garage that sure scared some kids!But not Ty she laughed at it..any thing scary she would be like awe mama thats silly - it was too funny

So we went to the stores and tried to find a cute costume and then we just didnt know what Tyra should be... BUT then I saw this and she LOVED it that we just decided to go with it... Tyra calls it her princess outfit and she loves it.. we just took it off her and she is still wearing the shoes imagine that..
We were at wal-mart because I knew they had these shoes. When we walked over to the shoes Tyra said to her dad-"daddy i need some new shoes! I love shoes!" and Derrick just asked me what did you do to our daughter. :) like mother like daughter! She is great and I love it..
She is a girly girl but she is also very tomboyish... she loves to fish and get dirty with dad as long as it isn't her hands. She Also LOVES riding on the motorcycle with her daddy..
She calls her nana everyday and tell her what she did and that she misses her it is great.
I love my girl, she is the greatest for sure! I can't believe how something so little can steal your heart so MUCH!!
Finally got a smile she wasnt really happy bout the cameras haha she had just woken up!
As you can tell she wasn't too happy but still cute as ever!!

So things with Alaska are going good so far. Derrick put in for an extension for our RNLD and so we don't have to be there til the 30th of Nov. now. He put in for it because he didn't think that our passports would come in. I told him to be patience they would be in before Wednesday of next week(which is this week)... WELL our passports were in! haha- We have them and are now ready to go but now we can't leave til later. BUT we will be in Idaho for 4 or 5 days we think...

I think i forgot to write about our girls night we went to the Poison Concert. Tyra was with my dad that is the night she decided to be a big girl and go on the potty! :)
We had a blast though it was just us girls and we met up with some more and brother Bryan.
So this is a picture of my cute mama me and my sista Tiffany. That is one thing i will miss is our girls nights we did alot together this past summer but it was a great time and helped me get thru the deployment! :)

Right before I left to Wyoming I went to SLC to see my grandma who is serving a mission there. So I decided to stop by and see baby Cole! He is Derricks good friends baby! He is the cuttest little thing. I was so excited i got to hold him because I didnt think that was allowed! We got to see him for the first time without any tubes or wires or tape on his face. Oh boy was he a cute lil guy!!!
It is so nice to have my husband home!!!
This is when we got to see Derrick for the first time when he got home!! Tyra was SO happy! She just had a HUGE grin on her face and kept saying DADDY DADDY, we had been talkin bout him comimg home for so long i think she started not believing us so when she saw him it was so exciting for her!

So yes I know it has been awhile since I have caught everyone up on whats going on.
Well we are in Wyoming and we are a family of THREE again!
Yes Derrick is home and we are loving it! We have been SUPER busy since Derrick has been home we are trying to get all of our out processing done for Alaska and SO far we think things are going good so that helps out ALOT!
The movers came yesterday and packed all our stuff out of the storage unit. That took ALL day, we were already packed so who knows why it took so long.
We had our going away party last night also that was alot of fun and Derrick got awarded with a hatchet, if you didnt know that is something that derrick has ALWAYS wanted. We were super excited for him, and it was a great time to see everyone before we move.
We are still planning on leaving here on the 27th but it really depends on when our passports get in. We are not sure how much time we have when we drive thru Idaho it is going to be very crazy!
Tyra loves having her daddy back though, so that is great. The first day she really loved him and let him do everything. NOW she is back to being a mama's girl. I guess I can't complain! :)
She is having a hard time being away from her Nana though. She talks to her on the phone just about everyday and tells her what she has been doing and that she miss her and cant wait to see her and Diablo. (our dog) she misses him alot too!Any time we get in the car she gets excited that she is going to Nana's or Papa's house. I think the move to Alaska will be quite the change on her!

So anyway things have been going great so far and I will put a few pictures up of what has been going on! I will try to keep up with this when we are moving but who knows if that will happen..

It has been forever since I have Blogged! Guess you could call me a bad blogger.
Alot has happened since I have been on here last. We went camping, more family things, poison concert, it is closer to Derrick coming home! We are still waiting for the call to leave here!!!

The MOST EXCITING NEWS!!! Tyra is POTTY TRAINED!!
She is just so smart, really I can't even tell you if you don't know for your self. She decided she wanted to start potty training there for awhile we were having one accident a day then after awhile she is accident free and she sleeps thru the night with out any accidents! It is so fun and just so much cheaper! I really wanted to wait til we were in Alaska but she just wanted to do it and she is great at it. It was just all to easy when we have another I know it will be way harder!

Sorry so short I need to get some stuff packed. I will write again SOME TIME

My friends from Wyoming came to visit Tyra and I for Tyra's birthday! They left Cheyenne around 6. So that put them in Cokeville bout 1am!! To their suprise they got a FLAT TIRE. I felt so bad! Luckily there was some nice people there to help them change their tire and so they had to drive 45mph for 2 hrs which turned it into 4hours! So they didnt get to Pocatello til 4 AM!! I felt so bad for them they were super tired.

We went to Blackfoot and they really wanted to go to the potato museum so we did! This was the first time I have been in there and it was SOMETHING else that is for sure! :)

So to sum it up we had a blast with Demi and Jen here! I am going to miss them a WHOLE bunch! I will be seeing Demi again when I go back for a month but I wont see Jen or the kids again untill they come visit me in Alaska! It was alot of fun showing them around Blackfoot and we went out to my dads and the kids has a blast! They had a good elk fingersteak meal there! They have never had Elk.. So it was great! They also got to eat at Rupe's that was great they loved it there... and they couldn't get enough of the Fry Sauce! haha-

Then on Tyra's party day we went to Ross Park for a little while that was alot of fun then we had a party/fiesta! We made Tostadas, and Enchiladas. It was great and we made some great dips for chips. We made the kiddos Virgin daquaris and then we had Margaritas for adults! IT was a great time!!!

Sunday Tyra's actual b-day Demi and Jen had to head home so we went to breakfast and sent them on their way! BUT not before i got Demi to buy the first book of the Twilight saga!! She read it on the way home and LOVED IT! :)

So Derrick is coming home soon we can't wait!! He got her an AWESOME gift! I will ahve to take pictures when he gets home!! :)

Lately I have been super busy! I haven't had time to upload pictures from my camera but here are some from my phone and others cameras. It is getting close to Derrick coming home so that mean less time I have with family! I will be sad and excited to go at the same time! I can't wait to see Derrick!! Then I also know I really wont be seeing my family much for three years. I have been trying to spend as much time with them as possible though. It has been great so far.

Tyra LOVED the "motorcycle" it reminded her of her daddy! She loves any chance she can see one or be on one for that matter. I can tell she is ready for Derrick to come home she talks about him to everyone! Saying that she misses him and loves him and he is coming home soon and he is working in iraq in his fire truck! lol- and yes she says that all!

like i have said before she talks ALOT and very well for her age!

So Here is just an update on some things that we have done!! it has been a fun busy summer for far! My august is full every weekend! it will make it go by so much faster!! I cant wait til derrick comes home and this will just help!
Derrick is doing good he got my boxes that I sent him and that has kept him busy so that is great!! we only have 50 something more days!! we can do it!! :)
Then she would drink it! She is so funny just give her a hose and she will play for hours!!

So yesterday I was kinda getting worried that I haven't talked to Derrick yet! I usually talk to him right when I get up, it was one by the time I heard from him. WELL the story behind not calling is there was a HUGE fire! Some say the biggest they have had on base! It was 120 degrees out and then the fire. So you can only imagine how hot it was. Just about all of the fire fighters had to get and IV including Derrick, there was a couple that went to the hospital. I am just so glad that Derrick was ok! They were there for 6 hours! It was a LONG day for Derrick. It was a store behind the BX what caught on fire and that caught 6 housing trailers on fire! They did get alot of sweet pictures so I am going to share them with you. Man it is hard being a firefighters wife!

So I decided to just write a little update on Tyra.

She is almost two! Wow that has just gone be SO fast! It is unreal!

We are going to throw her a Dora themed Fiesta! It is going to be a blast! I am so super excited for it! My friends from Wyoming are doing to come and spend it with us!

I just wanted to brag about her a little bit! I know what can I say ... she is my first! :)

Tyra is very smart and I hear it from every one!

-She can count to Ten in English & Spanish

-She knows SOME of her ABC's but we are still workin on that

-Great with her colors!

-Loves her shapes(she has to tell you the color of everything and the shape of EVERYTHING)

-She talks so good she is speaking in full sentences!

-Knows her animals

-What sounds they make

-Puts on her own clothes

-Oh and her shoes

-VERY polite! Please, Thank You, Your Welcome, Bless You, Sorry-She knows it all & uses them

-TRIED the potty trainin' have to wait til Alaska to stay on a schedule. BUT she knows when she has to pee and poop! Or when she already did!

Awe.. She is just so great! She is just the best thing that has happen to Derrick and I! Derrick is just amazed at what she tells him on the phone they have full conversations. When he left she was not talkin as much!

So I bragged enough! I am just so blessed to have such a beautiful, happy, smart, and fun little girl! :)

Tommorow is Derrick & I's 2nd year wedding anniversary, and well we were just going to tint the windows in our trailblazer and I sent him a box of fun stuff. Well what I didn't know he was thinking of his own present for me. My mom called me yesterday saying Gino will be getting a package and I needed to stay home and wait for it. It should also be there no later than 3, so my mama rented some movies and I just hung out and waited to sign for Gino's package! To my suprise I went to anwer the door expecting UPS, well it was a lady with a dozen of red roses! My jaw dropped and I was just SO SUPER EXCITED! Totally suprised! Some how he timed it just right and called me right when I got done reading the card!

Man I just have the best hubby in the world! It is a bummer that he is away but it only makes us ten times stronger and ten times closer!I LOVE HIM!!!

So my day of doing nothing and watching movies turned into some thing so special! I had such a great day! Now going to watch scary movies with the sista! :P

So I cute my hair again! I really wanted to front not touched and really long BUT again it didnt turn out but it will be perfect when it grows out a lil' bit! BUT I like it and Derrick really likes it so that makes me like it even more! :)

So Tyra has this thing about LOVING to be in the water! Any chance we get to go outside and can get in the pool Tyra is down for it! We always have a great time out in the water! She is hilarious! She looked like a lil' diva in the pool though. I just had to take a picture! Sorry it was so bad it was from my phone!

Derrick is down to 75 days! We are super excited! He is ready to come home that is for sure. He hasn't been feeling well this past while, he has been getting very horrible head aches. So bad to where he can't do anything but sleep. He went to the doctor EARLY EARLY this morning (his day) and she told him it might be Cluster Head Aches. I have not yet looked it up to see what that all consist of, but he wont be able to find out for sure if that is what it is until he gets a CT Scan. So in the mean time they are giving him 5 days on Sinus meds and pain killers hoping that it could just be his sinus' or some kind of allergies that is causing him such pain.

BUT Other than that Derrick is doing great we are just counting down the days until he is back with his girls again! Tyra was missing him pretty bad today! She had to talk to him and tell him to "come home safe" and "Be home soon" It makes me tear up everytime she does! I love how much she loves and misses her daddy!!

Other than that Tyra got to go hang out with her "Papa" today! She LOVED it. She always loves going there..I didnt get any pictures but she played in the sandbox! That is something I don't let her do. So she LOVED IT! She also played on the tire swing. the water, and with Jess. She loved it, it was alot of fun for her. Again bummed I didn't get any pictures!

Ugh.. So Derrick has been gone since May 18th. Which is two days earlier than he was suppose to leave! That right there was a hit to the stomach when we got the call, we knew that he was leaving but just those two days really made the difference. Derrick only has 77 days left so we are counting down! It has been hard at time but not near as hard as I thought it was going to be. I have been able to have contact with Derrick alot so that is a HUGE help!

It is just really hard since Tyra is learning so much and changing she is no longer a baby she is a toddler! It is just sad that she can say "Daddys In Iraq, Working" and "I miss Daddy and Love him." It is crazy how much she talks bout Derrick. We do get the map out and show her 'Where Tyra is and then where Daddy is' She honestly thinks that is pretty cool!

So that is very hard at times when Tyra wants her daddy! Every time she opens my phone i have a picture of Derrick when he was in the Airport headed to Balad in his Desserts that she looks at and says "Daddy Iraq!" then asks me "When is daddy comin home?" it is so sad!

So other than Tyra missing her daddy and him missing out on alot we are surviving! Doing alright!! He sends me pictures often so that is nice! He isnt a fan of the 130 degree heat though! Most people don't know but it is very humid there also so that just makes it 100x's worse.

The Whole Wedding Party

Our Wedding Day!

Derrick and I have been together for 4 years.Can't wait until I can say more! Out of those 4 we have been married for 2! We got married on July 13, 2006. It was a special date because that is the date that we officailly started dating! So you could call us high school sweet hearts!

Derrick and I have one daughter together. She is going to be two in a month! Her name is Tyra Lynn! Let me tell you is a getting the terrible two this DOWN PAT! She is great though! She is very smart! Tyra knows her shapes, colors, numbers, she speaks in pretty much full sentence and she speaks english lol- Most of the time, also she knows her animals and the noises they make. She is really very smart! She means the world to Derrick and I!
Derrick joined the Air Force in Jan. of 2006. He wanted for the perfect job so he didn't leave until August 7, 2006 which we knew that he would be missing Tyra's birth. He did what he had to do for his family though. Once he was done with his 6 months of being away we are off to F.E Warren. We had been there for a year and we got orders to Alaska! We are very excited about that! We also got news that Derrick was deploying. So he has been in Iraq since May 18, 2008 he will hopefully be home the end of September. We don't really know a date but the deployment is suppose to be 123 days so I am just counting that down! :) Once he gets home we have a month with our friends in Wyoming then we are off on our new adventures together! We can't wait!
I think this will work for my first time!
